Le tecniche per la correzione della calvizie includono la restrizione dello scalpo, taglio del cuoio capelluto ( FUT ), e l'estrazione di unità follicolari ( FUE ).
La procedura di trapianto di capelli via FUE possono essere suddivise in 3 fasi: l'estrazione , incisioni e l'impianto degli innesti follicolari.
La FUE è un metodo di prelievo degli innesti. E’ la tecnica più recente e innovativa nel campo della chirurgia ricostruttiva dei capelli.
Con questo metodo è possibile estrarre un gran numero di unità follicolari nell’arco di una sola giornata, assicurando una ricrescita ottimale e una migliore tolleranza nei pazienti, il tutto senza lasciare alcun segno visibile.
Ciascun’unità follicolare individuale è prelevata direttamente dal cuoio capelluto, piuttosto che da una striscia di tessuto donatore.
Inizialmente, la FUE veniva praticata manualmente utilizzando punch manuali. Per l’estrazione delle singole unità follicolari vengono utilizzate diverse tipologie di punch. Generalmente, i pazienti idonei al ripristino dei capelli possono sottoporsi al trattamento FUE.
Un paziente non-idoneo a un prelievo di strip può comunque ottenere dei buoni risultati con la FUE.

Come qualsiasi altro tipo d’intervento chirurgico, la FUE può essere eseguita in modo ottimale o malamente.
Per dirla semplicemente, protegge l’area donatrice e fornisce innesti di ottima qualità.

L’obiettivo é di ottenere un aspetto omogeneo su tutta la testa. Per raggiungere questo risultato, la cosa migliore è fare uso in sequenza casuale di ogni zona dell’area donante. Anche a seguito di svariate sessioni, la ridotta foltezza dell’area donante è visibile solo dopo un attento esame.
Il cranio può presentare diversi contorni e forme, con variazione della direzione e inclinazione del capello. Con l’ingrandimento e il tatto è possibile cogliere, sia visivamente sia mentalmente, le sottili sfumature della pelle e le caratteristiche dei capelli, per poi estrarre l’unità follicolare con precisione. Secondo i parametri dei follicoli estratti, qualsiasi disposizione può essere realizzata puntualmente. Questo passo fondamentale è tralasciato in assenza di feedback immediato.
Una mega sessione è un intervento chirurgico volto ad innestare una grande quantità di follicoli in una sola seduta. Abbiamo avuto grandi successi con le mega sessioni.
I vantaggi della mega sessione sono: risultati più rapidi, e la convenienza di richiedere un’unica seduta piuttosto che ripeterla.
Perché l’intervento riesca, bisogna possedere la capacità di gestire l’utilizzo di aperture microscopiche e particolari tecniche d’innesto con l’ausilio di lenti ad alta potenza d’ingrandimento. I pazienti vanno selezionati con la massima cura. È indispensabile un adeguato controllo della qualità e un’equipe medica esperta e ben organizzata.
Con le incisioni è possibile controllare la direzione di crescita, angolazione, distanza e profondità dei capelli, permettendo al chirurgo di dar vita e forma ad un look naturale.
Le incisioni possono essere parallele o laterali. Quelle eseguite perpendicolarmente alla direzione di crescita dei capelli sono definite laterali. Quelle eseguite parallelamente sono definite sagittali.
La tecnica laterale riproduce più fedelmente l’anatomia del cuoio capelluto. I capelli naturali variano dai 10° ai 90°. L’incisione laterale permette un controllo preciso dell’angolazione dell’innesto. La creazione di un numero maggiore di angoli acuti porta a una migliore copertura dell’aria diradata.
Praticando incisioni dalle dimensioni ridotte, è possibile ottenere una maggiore densità.
